My website development work ranges from small business sites to larger platforms across finance, education, automotive, manufacturing and local services.
I choose the structure around what the project needs. WordPress provides an editable content platform; Laravel and React are useful where the requirements call for a custom application or interface.
Architecture
I build reusable content sections and keep logic, markup and data organised. In WordPress, my work has included Gutenberg, ACF blocks and Timber with Twig.
Quadvice is one example: editable service content is combined with a multi-step enquiry journey. Its form steps and supporting slides work together to give visitors context as they progress.
WordPress & Custom Frameworks
For Making Websites Better, I implemented a supplied design with a strong focus on animation and small interactions. The build combines editable WordPress sections with GSAP, Alpine.js and carefully organised JavaScript.
Performance work includes deciding when assets and interactions need to load, as well as how they behave across devices. The aim is to give the design its character while keeping the everyday publishing workflow straightforward.
Connecting the wider system
APIs, payment services, search and third-party integrations can turn a website into a practical part of a business workflow.
I plan those connections alongside the content structure, so the site can support its purpose and remain understandable to the people maintaining it.
