Harbour Roastery
A small independent coffee roaster in coastal England is rebranding to compete with newer, trendier cafés. They’ve been roasting for 15 years, but their current look felt dated, and their online store barely functions. They want a modern refresh that keeps their coastal charm and loyal customer base.

Goal
Rebuild their identity around authentic craft, sustainability, and coastal life. Something that appeals both to locals and online coffee buyers across the UK.
Tone
Warm, confident, minimalist. Not sterile. I built a brand that feels artisanal and grounded, not luxury or hipster-ironic.

Logo Design
The logo is a key representation of a coastal area, with heavy modification to the logo typography it has been transformed in to a cozy but reputable coastal café. The shapes are a direct translation of the harbour with a local lighthouse being a key representation of the area.
Logo Final Concept Design Website Design
The website design fully embraces a high quality area, with harbour and costal colours combined with light cafe colours. The objective to pitch Harbour Roasterys customers a charming location in the suffolk countryside was fully envisioned by positioning imagary, key facts and light reading directly to the homepage.

Branding
From exploring ideas, to matcing colour schemes, identifying typography styles and building brand assets, I’ve given Harbour Café on the Suffolk coast a quality brand that reflects its vision to attract highend customers from further reaches – many customers whom may look at this as a first experience of a Suffolk coastal café.
