I’m a multidisciplinary creative with a love for design, code, and intelligent automation. My work sits at the intersection of creativity and technology, switching between the two is what keeps it interesting.
Problem-solving is what drives me. Sometimes that’s designing AI workflows, sometimes it’s building small tools, or just finding ways to make systems run smoother.
I care about creating things that are functional, but also feel good to use. Better, smarter, safer. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
Momentum matters to me. I believe in progress through consistency whether it’s coding, reading, learning, or running. It doesn’t need to be huge; it just needs to keep moving forward. Curiosity and motion are what push my work.

I was required to rebuild its online digital ecosystem. Built in Laravel and ReactJS, EDR is a secure system with authentication, advanced security, two factor authentication, user roles, email management and visual logs, user management, admin form management and more, with over 100 fields built in to the system EDR was a huge undertaking;delivered in 8 weeks from concept to finish its deployed to a Digital Ocean server using ssh deployments with authenticated keys to restrict access to the system.
The system is built using Laravel, ReactJS, Tailwind, MVC, Webpack, Digital Ocean, SSH.

Whilst building the EDR Laravel System I recommended we rebuild the EDR website, and it was rebuilt in standard WordPress using Gutenberg ACF blocks in under 1 day (6 hours). As the previous system was built in WordPress we had to separate the two, creating a WordPress Build and a Laravel Build to separately manage between the website and the secure system.
The website is built using Gutenberg, ACF, PHP, JavaScript, AlpineJS, Tailwind, TwigLang, MVC, Webpack, cPanel VPS.

In our second revamp of the website we rebuilt the showroom and product templates in the site, streamlined all typography styles and modified the website slider functionalities. The site was modified in Vanilla WordPress, with no MVC models and the site had to be modified with vanillaCSS in a pre-compiled SCSS template as the raw scss files had not been transferred over with the website.

The Making Websites Better public website was an ambitious project with sleek animations using GSAP built to represent the MWB brand.
I was tasked with building this site, from beautifully customised blocks to advanced scrolling animations. The biggest tasks included a progress wheel animation, forward and backward playing MP4 animations that rapidly switched between 8 different videos depending on scroll position and direction, and manipulating large SVGs to tell the brand narrative.
It included advanced mouse hover functionality (custom cursor), and gamifying mouse-trail-elements.

I led the brand creation and visual direction, defining typography, colour, tone, and layout principles to create a calm, credible, and professional presence aligned with clinical trust and personal care.
Alongside the brand, I designed the full website experience, including page layouts, content structure, and user flow, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and ease of navigation for prospective clients. The design work focused on restraint and balance, allowing the content and purpose of the clinic to take priority without visual noise.

The site required a lightweight ecommerce style experience without using WooCommerce so I developed a custom Javascript basket system that allows users to add and manage products dynamically.
Rather than a traditional checkout; the masket data is passed in to Gravity Forms, where selected product quantities are submitted alongside customer details to generate quote requests. This approach was fast, flexible and allowed a quality quiting flow whilst keeping the backend simple.
This build includes bespoke front-end interactions and a complex product system all delivered in the WordPress Ecosystem.

The site emphasises speed, fair pricing, and no admin fees, with car collection and same-day payment options highlighted in the UX.
The build centres on WordPress with clean form-driven interactions that capture vehicle data and customer information, then integrate with backend workflows for lead handling and appointment booking.

I built this system to start the process of building a free tool that’s based off bugherd and basecamp to create a central place for the management of a project. The system contains bugtracking, task tracking, project progress tracking, document management (uploads, previews, downloads), link uploads and cross-tracking (assigning attachments to bugs, project progress, tasks). It allows the signup of multiple users and the ability to assign users to projects.

I was responsible for the brand creation and full website design, defining typography, colour palette, layout systems, and visual tone to reflect focus, community energy, and welcoming professionalism.
The website design prioritised clarity and purposeful flow, with simple sections and key calls to action that guide visitors toward booking and engagement. Soft blurring, rounded elements, and calm, confident typography were used to reinforce the brand tone across the experience.

I built the prototype to test structured conversations, role-based responses, and controlled outputs, with emphasis on reliability, clarity, and repeatability over novelty. The work was intentionally pragmatic, treating AI as a component within a wider system rather than the product itself.
This project served as a technical exploration and proof of concept, shaping how AI could be responsibly integrated into future platforms.

The website was rebuilt in WordPress and Woocommerce using a modular, block-based approach with Gutenberg, ACF and MVC development patterns. The site uses ACF and options on the front-end to influence Woocommerce pricing. Security measures such as 2FA, wordfence and more have been implemented to maintain the highest security of the site.
The build includes custom templates, reusable components, responsive layouts, and a scalable content structure designed to support ongoing updates and future projects.

My experience includes training a Junior developer, building backend and frontend of websites using MVP patterns and seperation of concerns principle using tailwind, PSR4 autoloading, Gutenberg, Woocommerce, Timber Twig, WP Multisite, Advanced Custom Fields, Github and more. In addition I supported their ecosystem of existing clients with website support and maintenance. The site includes custom portfolio templates, category-driven content sections, expandable studio and press pages, and intuitive navigation so visitors can explore projects and insights seamlessly. Emphasis was placed on responsive layouts, typographic hierarchy, and accuracy to the supplied design across all devices.
My role was to support a junior member of the team build, and to get its advanced functionalities such as filters and the advanced portfolio layouts written myself.

It also included a light and dark mode, heavy usage of video and animations and included a custom build no-reload Javascript framework to keep the sites responding like a web application (e.g clicking on links could animate in to another page with no reloading of the page/browser).
The site also utilized Local Storage to remember actions that had been taken on the website; and even using it to pre-load and cache page assets in the site. By using Local Storage to cache pages in advance the full power mode website became a lightning fast experience.

The platform includes custom property listing templates, interactive content sections for residence details, integrated enquiry flows and structured presentation of amenities and lifestyle context, all built to reflect the premium experience of the development.

The site includes custom project templates, curated category filtering, and flexible content sections that allow the studio to organise and publish architectural work with control and consistency. Emphasis was placed on responsive layouts, accurate reproduction of design details, and ensuring typographic and spatial hierarchy reflected the design thinking behind the architecture.
Starting Out
I started in 1999, writing applications in QuickBASIC and booting into MS-DOS on old beige hardware. Back then, building text editors and small tools was just a hobby, long before I had internet access. Design caught my attention too. First in MS Paint, then in Fireworks MX, where I created graphics and assets for whatever I was building.
Around the same time I began exploring HTML, building simple, table driven web pages. I didn’t know it then, but those experiments were the foundation of becoming both a designer and a developer.

Over time I created hundreds of QuickBASIC tools, small designs, and basic websites, plus a few games using ActionScript 2 in Flash. Slowly, design and programming stopped being separate interests and started working together.

Canicross, Trail running, Road Running.
Following painted lines on the pavement, weaving through forst and woodland, or bounding ahead with my dogs at my side – running has a way of enhancing everyday life.
Each breath feels crisp and sharp when heading out before sunrise in –5 °C cold air. We run along narrow woodland trails early in the morning. It’s a simple joy, just me and Cooper (my Labrador).
Signing up for winter series events has made these runs even better. We push ourselves while completing races across the country, in the Midlands, the Lake District, Norfolk and Suffolk, and more. Canicross season lasts between November and April, and the atmosphere is always great.
Road and trail running are mixed up, making road running more accessible in warmer weather.
Cycling
Cycling has been a big part of my life for a long time. I’ve ridden over 20,000 kilometers and over 1000 hours.
Early mornings when the roads are still quiet, late evening spins when the light starts to dip, or even on a turbo trainer or Zwift, I ride solo most of the time, and that space to think is something I’ve come to really value.
